I continue to be very slow at posting on this blog and have decided that I will not post again until baby number 2 arrives. It seems like one more thing to do and obviously I have not been motivated to do it.
I just read my last post and it seems Evan has grown from baby to toddler in the past two months. He now is practically running and constanly has a new bruise to show it. He is no longer using a pacifier, he is saying many words and know a few of his body parts (his favorite is to show you his belly), he completed swimming lessons and got his first haircut today.

Our biggest news is that I am pregnant. I am due 11/29/10 and Evan will almost be two. We are very excited and Im feeling well.

Since the last post we have celebrated Easter, visited family both in Indy and Champaign, Grandma and Grandpa K visited and Im sure much more that I am now forgetting.

It has been some time since my last blog and a lot has happened. Both set of grandparents came to celebrate Evan’s birthday. Evan loved all the attention and being spoiled. We thank our parents for traveling and the many gifts.
Evan continue to amaze us daily. He has gotten three new teeth and a double ear infection (although this seems to now be behind us). He is walking pretty well but continues to crawl if he wants to get somewhere fast. He has said a few words including uh-oh, car and bye bye. His favorite is uh-oh and I can hear him saying it in every morning when the throws his pacifier out of his crib. He has also started swimming lessons and seems to love it (I am quite the proud mama). It is starting to feel like spring here and some of the snow has started to melt. Evan and I have enjoyed going on walks in the afternoon.

Evan's birthday was a blast. He loved eating cake (I wonder where he gets that from), opening gifts and playing with his friends. Today we had his birthday party. It was unfortunately smaller than we expected but still a great celebration! We cant wait to celebrate again and again when both sets of grandparents come to visit.

I havent posted in some time and feel like every day Evan is getting a little bit bigger. His first birthday is on Thursday and I cant believe it. Evan is so active right now. He now goes up and down the stairs, plays with everything and loves walking with the help of Matt and I. His is also eating very well. We are excited to celebrate his brithday with friends next Saturday and have him try some cake.

Belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Matt, Evan and I have been over the hills and through the woods to many grandmothers homes we went. For ten days we traveled to Illinois, Indiana and Pennsylvania. We saw a lot of our family and feel blessed that Evan was able to meet his extended family. We had a great time!
Evan has been sick for the past week and I am looking forward to getting back to our regular routine. Since my last posting Evan has started waving and on rare ocassion standing independently. I cant believe in a month he will one.
Here are some pictures from our many travels!

Matt and I have a lot to be thankful for! We feel the Lord has blessed us with a supportive, loving, healthy family. Our son is a joy to watch and love.
During Thanksgiving we visited our family in Champaign. Evan loved playing with his counsins and especially enjoyed tormenting my sister's dog Jack. All of the boys loved to play with the 'baby'. They were gentle, shared their toys and gave many hugs. We plan to celebrate Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa Block in Indy at my sister's house so all the kids have room to play (and sleep).
While at Grandma and Grandpa Kolb's house Evan was the star of the show! We enjoyed going to the park, playing with new toys and visiting with family friends.
We also got together with the McLemores and Penners. It is great to see Matt, Nick and John being Dads.
In the past few weeks Evan has started teething on his crib (he is quite a cute little beaver), he is starting to stand on his own even if it is only for a second at a time, and he loves to show us how big he is by raising his arms. He is really staring to understand language and he does say mama.
We hope you all had a wonderful Thansgiving, we sure did!
